NTAIC Grants Program
The Northern Territory Aboriginal Investment Corporation (NTAIC) is proud to present the inaugural NTAIC Grants Program.
The purpose of the NTAIC Grants Program is to promote self-determination and economic self-sufficiency of Aboriginal people living in the NT and to promote their social and cultural wellbeing.
The NTAIC Grants Program aims to ensure:
- Funding is provided to Aboriginal people in the NT.
- Aboriginal Territorians are leading critical decision making regarding NTAIC Grants.
- NTAIC Grants maximise strategic opportunities and drive economic, social and cultural outcomes.
The NTAIC is providing two streams of funding:
NTAIC General Grants
NTAIC Innovation Grants
The NTAIC Grants Program is funded by the Aboriginals Benefit Account (ABA) and makes grants for projects and initiatives that benefit the lives of Aboriginal people living in the NT. The NTAIC has allocated $60 million per year for the first three years of the NTAIC’s operation to support the NTAIC Grants Program. Beyond the three years, the Minister for Indigenous Australians will set ongoing yearly funding for NTAIC payments having regard to estimates provided by the NTAIC.
The current grant opportunity will remain open until 30 June 2025 or until grants funds are exhausted or NTAIC, at its discretion, closes the funding round. You can apply at any time during this period, but funds are awarded on a first-come-first-served basis.
